Solar PV and Energy Storage Pre‑Sales & After‑Sales Engineer

About the role

The role combines pre‑sales technical support and after‑sales service for solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage solutions. You will work closely with the sales team and customers to design, commission and maintain grid‑tied, off‑grid and hybrid systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, load analysis and capacity calculations to size PV and storage systems.
• Prepare technical proposals, single‑line diagrams, bills of materials and product selections.
• Support sales meetings, product demonstrations and tender submissions.
• Design grid‑tied, off‑grid and hybrid solar‑plus‑storage solutions based on customer requirements.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, trial operation, acceptance testing and customer training.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with inverters, batteries, BMS, PCS, EMS, PV modules and electrical distribution.
• Provide remote and on‑site after‑sales support, including fault handling and performance optimisation.
• Perform regular inspections, performance analyses and recommend upgrades or maintenance.
• Document technical proposals, commissioning records, acceptance reports and service reports.
• Evaluate major PV, storage and inverter brands and coordinate feedback with manufacturers.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in pre‑sales engineering, installation, commissioning or after‑sales support for solar PV or energy storage systems.
• Valid EPRA licence (T2, T3 or equivalent) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the local solar PV, storage and inverter market and major product specifications.
