Specialist, Asset Management

About the role

Athena is seeking a Specialist in Asset Management to oversee the lifecycle of fixed assets, focusing on laptops and related equipment. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient logistics to support employee productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise reconciliation of stock tallies with vendor purchases to maintain precise inventory records.
• Prepare month‑end reports and coordinate verification with relevant departments.
• Provide guidance and training on asset management best practices.
• Manage end‑to‑end laptop logistics, including deployment, retrieval, and coordination with courier services such as LBC, Transportify, and Grab.
• Oversee distribution and filing of equipment loan agreements and related documentation.
• Address and escalate laptop‑related issues, facilitating communication with service centers for timely repairs.
• Ensure all assets are recorded in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
• Coach and mentor team members to promote proactive problem‑solving.
• Maintain and update reports, trackers, and handle ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fixed assets, particularly laptops and related equipment.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities to reconcile inventory and produce accurate reports.
• Experience coordinating logistics with external vendors and courier services.
• Ability to train and mentor team members on asset management procedures.
• Proactive attitude toward process improvement and issue resolution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an IT Asset Management (ITAM) system.
