Supervisory Assistant for Primary School Break Supervision

About the role

The Supervisory Assistant will help ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during break periods at Mossbank Primary School. Working under the direction of the head teacher, you will be part of a team that maintains a secure and orderly environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other school premises during break times.
• Monitor behaviour and intervene to maintain good conduct and discipline.
• Perform ancillary duties such as cleaning spillages and keeping tables tidy.
• Support the head of establishment in implementing local authority safety procedures.

Required profile

• Responsible and able to work under the direction of the head teacher.
• Willingness to join or update the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme before employment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
• Ability to provide two non‑related references.
