Technology, Digital, and IT Director

About the role

World Animal Protection is creating a senior leadership position to provide unified strategic direction across Technology, Digital, and Data functions. As the Technology, Digital, and IT Director you will shape the architecture, data governance and digital ecosystem that support the organisation’s mission for years to come.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain a technology architecture framework that guides all future system decisions.
• Develop and implement a data governance model, ensuring each directorate acts as an accountable data controller.
• Design and oversee a coherent digital ecosystem that connects platforms and delivers seamless digital products.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align technology, digital, and data strategies with organisational goals.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams across the three domains.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technology, digital transformation or IT governance.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable architecture and governance frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across diverse directorates.
• Commitment to responsible data handling and ethical digital product delivery.
