About the role
The Trade Finance Officer will drive the identification and development of trade finance opportunities for Gulf African Bank. This role supports portfolio growth, monitors performance, and markets the bank’s trade finance solutions to both existing and prospective clients.
Key responsibilities
- Identify trade finance opportunities and develop new business.
- Support growth of the trade finance portfolio through client acquisition and cross‑selling.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring compliance with bank policies and risk standards.
- Promote and market the bank’s trade finance products to existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and product teams to tailor solutions.
Required profile
- Business‑related degree with at least second‑class honors or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management or product development within financial services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trade finance products and processes.
