UCS Watchstander / DDC Technician

About the role

We are seeking a reliable UCS Watchstander / DDC Technician to monitor and maintain critical utility systems in a remote, 24/7 environment. The position supports HVAC, electrical, water and other base utilities, ensuring continuous operation and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and respond to alarms for HVAC, electrical, water and other base utility systems.
• Perform routine system checks, document status, and escalate abnormal conditions to maintenance or engineering personnel.
• Assist troubleshooting efforts by identifying irregularities, conducting basic diagnostics, and verifying corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate watch logs, update system documentation, and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist with system testing, calibration, and data entry as directed.
• Work rotating shifts to provide 24/7 coverage in a remote environment.
• Perform other duties consistent with the level and nature of the position.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in utility monitoring, building automation systems, DDC controls, or a related technical field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read system displays, alarms and basic technical documentation in English.
• Valid passport with at least one year of remaining validity and ability to obtain country‑specific visas.
• Capability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain them for the duration of deployment.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
