Vascular Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Vascular Nurse to join our expanding team of specialists delivering varicose vein treatments across the UK. You will work alongside a consultant and another nurse to ensure safe, high‑quality care for patients in a welcoming clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all safety and hygiene checks before, during, and after each clinic session.
• Collaborate with a fellow nurse to support the consultant in delivering treatment.
• Provide a warm, reassuring atmosphere for patients, keeping them informed throughout the appointment.
• Explain post‑treatment after‑care instructions and available support services.
• Adhere to CQC regulations and contribute to team compliance.
• Participate in clinical specialty meetings to discuss pathways, training needs, and support requirements.

Required profile

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) with at least one year of post‑qualification experience.
• Successful DBS check and up‑to‑date mandatory training.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
