Video Production Consultant for Forests Partnership

About the role
The Partnerships for Forests (P4F) East Africa programme is seeking a professional video production consultant or firm to create a high‑impact introductory video that showcases the Phase II vision, strategic priorities and achievements.
Key responsibilities
- Review P4F strategy and communication plan to grasp the programme narrative.
- Develop creative concepts, script outlines and storyboards for both short (3 × 60‑90 sec) and long (5‑7 min) versions, in collaboration with the senior communications officer.
- Prepare production schedule, shot list and identify filming locations (Nairobi and potential field sites).
- Secure all filming permissions and informed consent in line with P4F safeguarding policy.
- Conduct on‑site filming, including interviews, partner footage and b‑roll, providing all necessary camera, lighting and sound equipment.
- Edit and deliver two final video versions ready for digital platforms, stakeholder briefings and donor engagements.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering professional video projects for NGOs, development programmes or similar impact‑driven initiatives.
- Ability to work in East Africa, understand local logistics and cultural sensitivities.
- Strong storytelling skills aligned with environmental and sustainable‑development themes.
Required skills
- Video shooting, lighting and sound capture.
- Storyboarding and script development.
- Professional video editing to produce both short reels and longer documentary‑style cuts.
