Volunteer Faculty – Finance and Accounting

About the role

The Africa Nazarene University seeks a dedicated volunteer faculty member to teach Finance and Accounting. This full‑time position involves curriculum development, classroom instruction, and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement high‑quality finance and accounting curricula.
• Review course outlines, create lesson plans, and prepare both contact and online teaching materials.
• Employ diverse teaching methods such as field studies, group activities, assignments, and laboratory sessions.
• Design learning assessment plans and evaluate student performance.
• Supervise and guide undergraduate, graduate, internship, and research projects.
• Conduct research in specialist areas, publish findings, and participate in grant writing.
• Advise students on academic and career matters.
• Participate in departmental administration, conferences, workshops, and industry outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant finance or accounting field, or a Master’s degree with a PhD candidate in the final data‑collection stage.
• Minimum three years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizing, planning, and research abilities.
