Water Plant Manager – Luxury Resorts in Zanzibar

About the role

The Zanzibar Collection is seeking an experienced Water Plant Manager to lead water treatment operations across its boutique luxury resorts in Zanzibar. This on‑site role ensures reliable drinking water, effective sewage and grey‑water treatment, and optimal performance of reverse osmosis systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee sewage treatment and grey‑water production systems.
• Manage drinking water production and reverse osmosis (RO) plants.
• Monitor water quality and conduct regular system maintenance.
• Implement preventative maintenance programmes and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate on‑site operations independently.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing water treatment and RO systems.
• Knowledge of sewage treatment and grey‑water recycling processes.
• Strong maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage on‑site operations effectively.
• Hospitality or resort experience preferred.
