About the role
The Aga Khan Foundation is seeking a Workshop Rapporteur to support the Schools2030 initiative in Kenya. This short‑term contract involves documenting workshop proceedings, synthesising key discussions, and producing clear reports that will inform project learning and follow‑up actions.
Key responsibilities
- Attend all assigned workshop sessions, whether in‑person or virtual.
- Capture essential highlights such as participant demographics, main discussion points, insights, feedback, decisions, and action items.
- Synthesise notes into structured, non‑verbatim summaries.
- Engage with facilitators or the Schools2030 team for clarification when needed.
- Produce a comprehensive draft report and revise it based on team feedback.
- Sign and adhere to AKF’s Safeguarding Statement of Commitment and related ethical standards.
Required profile
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.
- Experience in documenting meetings, workshops, or similar events is preferred.
