Accounting Associate – Nairobi (On‑site)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our international finance team in Nairobi. This on‑site position offers a fast‑paced environment where you will support daily accounting operations and contribute to month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and support account and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data from the General Ledger and accounting systems.
• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing activities.
• Assist with process improvements and system transitions.
• Support client audits and respond to client requests.

Required profile

• Technical degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1‑3 years of accounting experience.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (C1 level).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
