About the role
The Business Development Executive will focus on developing intermediary channels, building strategic partnerships, and driving profitable growth for an insurance provider. The role aims to meet annual corporate targets while delivering value‑driven customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships and client relationships.
- Manage the sales cycle and deliver value‑driven customer service.
- Drive revenue growth through daily sales and business development activities.
- Monitor and report on sales and retention performance.
- Develop and deliver quotations and tender documents promptly.
- Support intermediary engagement through visits, training, and performance reviews.
- Organize market activations and outreach activities.
- Ensure compliance with credit control and debt collection policies.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify market opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Insurance Sales.
- COP qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
