Electrical Technician

About the role

We are looking for a careful, hands‑on Electrical Technician to join our workshop team in Kikuyu, Nairobi. You will assemble electrical products, rework machines, keep stock in order and help run the workshop day‑to‑day, reporting to the Engineering Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electrical products such as power cables and buck/boost converters.
• Rework agro‑processing machines following provided instructions.
• Pack and unpack products, ensuring completeness.
• Perform occasional workshop wiring.
• Carry out regular inspection, cleaning, servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Organise and maintain stock, ensuring correct storage and accounting.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as loading, unloading, tidying and cleaning.

Required profile

• Diploma in electrical engineering with at least 2 years’ experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Extreme attention to detail and strong understanding of electrical safety.
• Soldering experience and familiarity with industrial and commercial wiring.
• Practical maintenance and repair skills.
• Impeccable moral track record.
