About the role
This finance internship is located in Nairobi’s Westlands district and is offered by Optiven Limited, a company operating in the real‑estate sector. The placement is designed for final‑year students, recent graduates or continuing students who wish to acquire practical experience in accounting and finance. Interns will work on‑site and be integrated into the finance team for the duration of the program. The role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a real‑world business environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the finance department with day‑to‑day activities and gain exposure to core financial processes.
Required profile
- Undertaking or completed a degree/diploma in Accounting or an equivalent business qualification from a recognised institution.
- Final‑year student, recent graduate or continuing student.
- Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism and a willingness to learn.
