About the role
We are looking for a Head of Commercial to define and execute the commercial strategy for our fast‑growing multi‑category delivery platform in Kenya. Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive revenue, order volume and market share across sales, key‑account management and advertising verticals.
Key responsibilities
- Define, own and implement the country‑level commercial strategy.
- Build and lead a high‑performing team across sales, account management, advertising and on‑demand services.
- Recruit, onboard and develop talent, establishing clear performance standards and coaching frameworks.
- Identify, sign and scale new restaurant partnerships that enhance the customer value proposition.
- Manage strategic relationships with top accounts, co‑creating commercial initiatives and operational plans.
- Design and execute the advertising and monetisation model, including pricing, go‑to‑market plans and campaign optimisation.
- Use data analysis to uncover growth levers, revenue opportunities and process improvements.
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for regional and HQ stakeholders, ensuring local implementation of global best practices and providing market intelligence.
Required profile
- 10+ years of commercial leadership experience, preferably in consulting, high‑growth tech or large‑scale operations.
- Proven track record leading large, cross‑functional teams in dynamic environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
- Hands‑on leadership style capable of making autonomous, high‑impact decisions.
