Hospital Manager

About the role

The Hospital Manager will provide overall leadership and accountability for hospital operations, business growth, financial performance and quality healthcare delivery at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hospital operations, manage staff and budgets, and coordinate all clinical and support departments.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, regulations and internal policies.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets and revenue‑growth initiatives.
• Drive performance against operational KPIs such as bed occupancy, average length of stay and turnaround times.
• Enhance patient experience, strengthen clinical governance and build high‑performing teams aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in hospital or healthcare management with proven P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, commercial acumen and experience delivering business performance targets.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
