Junior Sales Controlling Analyst – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

The Junior Sales Controlling Analyst supports commercial decision‑making across CEWA markets by providing high‑quality analytical, reporting and forecasting services. Working under the Sales Controller, you will ensure data accuracy, deliver actionable insights and help drive performance tracking and trade‑spend analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyse monthly sales performance versus forecast, budget and prior year, and maintain country‑level dashboards covering trade spend and gross margin.
• Validate sales assumptions, support annual budgeting and strategic planning, and drive monthly gap‑review meetings.
• Monitor promotional spend, ensure compliance with trade terms, discount structures and commercial policies, and flag risks related to distributor credit notes, rebates and claims.
• Partner with sales teams to prepare financial scenarios, customer analyses and materials for joint business planning and commercial reviews.
• Ensure adherence to commercial, TTC and promo policies, validate distributor contracts and pricing models, and strengthen internal controls around rebates, accruals and returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, sales controlling, FP&A or business analytics.
• ACC​A/CPA/CIMA qualification or progression is a plus.
• Experience in distributor‑driven markets, preferably FMCG.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
