Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

Zadchem Healthcare Ltd is seeking two motivated Medical Representatives to promote and sell its pharmaceutical portfolio across Nairobi and the coastal regions of Kenya. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets while building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and pharmacies to present and sell company products.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly and monthly sales activities to maximise coverage.
• Identify new business opportunities, negotiate terms and secure new accounts.
• Maintain customer relationships to ensure product retention and repeat orders.
• Generate leads, prepare sales presentations and follow up on prospects.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints and provide product information.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Relevant science degree (Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or Nursing).
• Minimum 1 year of proven medical sales experience.
• Self‑driven with strong networking and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Knowledge of the assigned territory is an advantage.
