Online Secondary School Subject Tutor & Reviewer (Full‑time)

About the role

CareerPath Africa is seeking enthusiastic secondary‑school subject tutors and reviewers to deliver engaging online lessons and support learners across a range of disciplines. This full‑time remote position involves live teaching, mentorship, and continuous improvement of learning materials.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum‑aligned lessons for secondary‑school students.
• Assign, grade and provide constructive feedback on assessments.
• Track learner progress and hold virtual office hours.
• Review and enhance existing course content and assessment items for accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with academic teams to maintain high‑quality teaching standards.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in one or more secondary subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Sciences, English, Social Sciences).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area.
• Experience with online teaching methodologies and remote classroom management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with virtual classroom tools.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS).
• Familiarity with digital assessment platforms.
