Outside Sales Representative

About the role

The Chef's Warehouse is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to grow revenue by connecting chefs, restaurants, caterers, hotels and retail establishments with premium specialty ingredients. You will be the face of the company, delivering personalized service and building lasting relationships across your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and expand existing accounts to meet sales targets.
• Identify and compile prospective customer lists using trade shows, industry publications, directories and online sources.
• Travel throughout the assigned region, meeting customers in person to present product samples and catalogs.
• Quote pricing, credit terms and prepare contracts for orders.
• Provide accurate estimates, manage order timelines and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities.

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
