Outside Sales Representative

About the role

The Chef's Warehouse is seeking an Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about food and sales. In this role you will be the face of the company, building strong relationships with chefs, restaurateurs, caterers, hotels and retail buyers while delivering innovative food‑service solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new revenue by identifying and developing fresh business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
• Compile and maintain prospect lists using networking, trade shows, industry publications and online sources.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory to meet existing and potential customers, secure orders and provide product support.
• Present product samples and catalogs, highlighting key features and benefits that match customer needs.
• Quote pricing and credit terms, prepare contracts and close sales.
• Ensure timely order processing and follow‑up to meet delivery schedules.

• Passionate about food, culinary trends and delivering personalized service.
• Willingness to travel regularly within a defined sales territory.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
