Petroleum Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Petroleum Engineer to oversee oil and gas extraction projects both offshore and onshore. You will design drilling plans, analyse geological data, and ensure smooth operation of extraction activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement extraction plans for oil and gas fields.
• Operate, maintain and supervise drilling and fracturing equipment.
• Research and evaluate new extraction methods and potential reservoir sites.
• Analyse rock formations and reservoir characteristics.
• Utilise computer‑aided models to optimise drilling operations.
• Define project budgets and technical requirements.
• Supervise and train technical staff.
• Collaborate with geoscientists and engineers to interpret geological features.

Required profile

• Proven experience in petroleum engineering and field operations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and travel regularly to project sites.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of handling complex technical tasks.
