About the role
The Meru University of Science and Technology offers a full‑time PhD scholarship focused on Electrical Machines and Power Systems. Selected candidates will join the university’s research community to conduct advanced investigations and contribute to academic publications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct original research on electrical machines, power conversion, and system integration.
- Develop and test prototypes, simulation models, and analytical tools.
- Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with faculty members and external partners on project deliverables.
- Comply with university regulations, including bonding and study‑period requirements.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized university.
- Eligibility to register with relevant professional or regulatory bodies, where applicable.
- Willingness to be bonded under the university’s terms and complete the PhD within the prescribed study period.
