Program Director – RegistryConnect Digital Transformation

About the role

ASIC is seeking a senior Program Director to lead the RegistryConnect digital transformation program, a Tier 1 initiative that will modernise the regulator’s business registers and digital channels. You will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and trusted registry services that support the Australian economy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the multi‑year RegistryConnect program in line with the approved business case and Digital Transformation Agency Tier 1 assurance requirements.
• Coordinate large, multidisciplinary delivery teams and external partners, ensuring consistency and alignment across all projects.
• Define, maintain, and govern the integrated program delivery plan, overseeing schedule, financial management, risk, and benefits realisation.
• Manage program‑level risk, issue and dependency management, escalating material matters to governance forums and the Senior Responsible Officer.
• Prepare high‑quality papers and reports for executive, steering, and portfolio governance committees.

Required profile

• Proven senior program leadership experience delivering large‑scale, high‑risk digital transformation programmes, preferably in government or highly regulated environments.
• Strong track record of managing multi‑year, multi‑disciplinary teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to meet rigorous whole‑of‑government assurance, security, and compliance standards.
