QA Tester – Manual & Automated Testing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA Tester to ensure our software applications meet functional, usability, performance and quality standards before release. The role involves both manual and automated testing, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA practices.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, specifications and user stories to develop appropriate test scenarios.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scripts and testing documentation.
• Identify, document and track software bugs and defects; reproduce issues and provide clear steps.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability and exploratory testing.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers and other teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in testing throughout the software development lifecycle, including cross‑browser, cross‑platform and device testing when required.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects and testing progress.
• Communicate testing status, risks and quality concerns to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and release validation.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and quality standards.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple testing activities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools such as Jira, TestRail or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, SQL and web technologies.
• Familiarity with regression, functional, integration and exploratory testing methodologies.
