Recruitment Candidate Consultant – UK Education (Remote, Kenya)

About the role

UCM Education is seeking 1‑2 Recruitment Candidate Consultants to support its UK Education desks from Kenya. This fast‑paced, delivery‑focused role involves active candidate engagement, screening, and pipeline management for UK school placements.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage education candidates using the existing database, job boards and other channels.
• Review CVs, identify relevant experience and assess suitability for teaching, teaching assistant, SEN and Early Years roles.
• Conduct screening calls to evaluate communication skills, experience and availability.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM and keep candidate pipelines active.
• Book candidates for next steps, support them through the recruitment process and collaborate with senior consultants to meet placement targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year experience in candidate‑facing recruitment, preferably within education.
• Strong phone presence, confident communication and ability to manage multiple candidates simultaneously.
• Coachable, driven and able to take ownership of their activity from day one.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently while meeting performance metrics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with recruitment CRM platforms and candidate database management.
