Sahl Relationship Manager – Gateway Branch

About the role

The Sahl Relationship Manager for the Gateway Branch will lead Islamic banking customer acquisition and portfolio growth. This role focuses on delivering Shari’ah‑compliant products, expanding the SAHL book and ensuring high service standards for both corporate and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead corporate and retail customer relationships, driving product sales and cross‑selling of Shari’ah‑compliant offerings.
• Liaise with relationship teams and the retail branch network to grow business and meet sales targets.
• Implement risk‑management measures to mitigate fraud and revenue leakages.
• Train and develop branch staff, ensuring proper documentation and administration of Shari’ah‑compliant portfolios.
• Maintain and grow the existing SAHL customer base, achieving set targets for liabilities and assets.
• Monitor and resolve SAHL customer complaints, continuously improving service delivery standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Islamic Banking Certification is an advantage).
• Minimum 3 years of general work experience, including at least 2 years in banking operations.
• 2 years of experience in Sharia banking, credit, and sales & relationship management.
• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
