Senior Investment Manager

About the role

The Senior Investment Manager will lead the analysis and management of medium‑term debt securities, ensuring investment decisions align with client Investment Policy Statements, regulatory requirements and the Group’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, the role combines portfolio oversight, strategic asset allocation and client performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Member of the AAML Investment Committee, generating investment content and approving trades within delegated limits.
• Develop and manage investment portfolios, aiming to exceed benchmark returns while preserving capital and liquidity.
• Conduct macro‑economic, market and sector analysis to drive strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions.
• Translate investment strategy into executable portfolio actions and execute rebalancing to meet IPS and regulatory guidelines.
• Report client performance in line with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and uphold the CFA Code of Ethics.
• Maintain high‑quality research, both internal and external, to support investment decisions.
• Manage existing client relationships, support business development presentations and help expand the client base.
• Prepare scheduled and ad‑hoc client reports that include economic and market overviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in investment management, preferably with medium‑term debt securities.
• Strong understanding of Investment Policy Statements, regulatory frameworks (e.g., CMA) and internal governance.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver risk‑adjusted returns and manage portfolio performance.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to interpret macro‑economic and market data.
• Professional adherence to the CFA Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
• Effective client relationship management and business development capabilities.
