Technical Sales Engineer – Geospatial Solutions

About the role
Trimble is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to act as the technical bridge between its advanced geospatial solutions and customers worldwide. Based in a hybrid setting in Dubai or Nairobi, you will help clients adopt reality‑capture and positioning technologies that drive infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑impact technical presentations and customized demos of Trimble hardware and software.
- Partner with the sales team as the technical authority to close complex deals and expand into new territories.
- Provide expert training, post‑sales support, and ongoing technical assistance to ensure customer success.
- Represent Trimble at major industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to set growth targets and enter emerging vertical markets.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Surveying, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in the geospatial industry.
- Fluent English communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
- Bonus: proficiency in Arabic or French and experience in the MEA region.
