Advertising Officer

About the role

Twyford International Kenya Ltd is seeking a proactive Advertising Officer to boost brand visibility across Kenya. The role focuses on identifying high‑impact advertising locations, negotiating rates, and coordinating outdoor branding projects to support marketing campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate strategic locations for billboards, wall branding, building branding, shopfront advertisements, and other outdoor media.
• Scout high‑traffic areas such as major roads, commercial centres, hardware clusters, tile showrooms, and construction zones.
• Negotiate rates, rental agreements, payment terms and contract periods with space owners and suppliers.
• Coordinate branding, painting, signage installation, fabrication and related outdoor advertising projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with media owners, property owners, contractors, branding agencies and other suppliers.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor advertising activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Ensure all placements comply with permissions, local regulations and company brand standards.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness, keep records of locations and costs, and prepare regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in advertising, outdoor media, brand activation, trade marketing or a similar commercial role.
• Proven experience in field‑based marketing, advertising space acquisition, supplier coordination or commercial negotiations.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management and organisational abilities.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within assigned markets (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
