After-Sales & Workshop Operations Executive

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven and hands‑on After‑Sales & Workshop Operations Executive to lead a busy automotive workshop. The role combines workshop management, customer liaison, accident‑repair coordination and business development to drive revenue and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day workshop operations, coordinating vehicle reception, assessment, repair, quality control and final delivery.
• Allocate jobs to technicians, monitor progress and ensure turnaround times are met while minimizing rework.
• Act as the primary link between customers and the workshop, preparing quotations, job cards and keeping clients informed of progress and costs.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and build relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Coordinate accident‑related repairs, liaising with insurers, assessors and customers to obtain approvals and authorisations.
• Generate new workshop business by targeting corporate and fleet customers, developing service contracts and pursuing sales opportunities.
• Supervise workshop staff, allocate work, monitor productivity, enforce safety standards and identify training needs.
• Monitor workshop sales, revenue, profitability and productivity; control wastage, delays and rework; and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive workshop operations, after‑sales or fleet environments.
• Proven experience supervising technical or workshop teams.
• Practical knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair processes.
• Experience in accident repair and insurance‑related processes.
• Strong customer service and service‑advisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to generate business and grow workshop revenue.
• Valid driving licence.
