Application Developer – .NET Core & Kentico

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer to join a fast‑growing international team based in Kenya. You will work hands‑on with C#.NET Core, Kentico CMS and SQL Server to build, maintain and enhance web applications and APIs while following established development standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance applications using C#.NET Core/.NET.
• Design, implement and support RESTful APIs and server‑side services.
• Work extensively within an existing Kentico CMS environment, adhering to its architecture and conventions.
• Create and optimise database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Interpret technical requirements, ask clarifying questions and break work into manageable deliverables.
• Follow Git/source‑control, task‑management and code‑review processes.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes and deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain high standards of code quality, security and documentation.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to coding best practices.
• Clear communication and willingness to ask questions when requirements are ambiguous.
