AQI Manager – Professional Relations for Architecture & Construction

About the role
The AQI Manager will act as the primary link between MICASSO and Kenya’s architecture, quantity surveying and interior design community. The role focuses on building high‑value professional relationships, influencing project specifications and driving the inclusion of MICASSO products from design through to procurement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with architects, quantity surveyors, interior designers, developers, contractors and other design professionals.
- Identify influential professionals and firms, conduct regular meetings, office and site visits, and keep continuous communication.
- Spot upcoming residential, commercial, hospitality and institutional projects and engage professionals during design and specification stages.
- Promote MICASSO products for inclusion in architectural specifications, Bills of Quantities, material schedules, interior design concepts and tender documents.
- Provide product information, samples and technical support, and track projects from design through tendering, procurement and delivery.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to convert specifications into purchase orders.
- Maintain a comprehensive project pipeline database with details such as project name, stakeholders, location, value, estimated tile requirements and competitor brands.
Required profile
- Proven experience in relationship management within the construction or real‑estate sector.
- Strong understanding of architectural, quantity surveying and interior design processes and specifications.
- Ability to travel frequently across Nairobi and surrounding counties and to conduct on‑site visits.
- Excellent communication skills and a network of contacts in Kenya’s built‑environment industry.
