Digitalization Intern

About the role

The Digitalization Intern will support GIZ Kenya’s Digitalization Partner in delivering digital solutions that improve data and records management. This role offers practical exposure to digital transformation initiatives within an international development context.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing digitalization initiatives and supporting the adoption of digital tools and platforms.
• Document digital processes, workflows and create user guides.
• Maintain and update the business partner database, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Generate basic reports and summaries from available data sources.
• Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, preparing documentation and monitoring digitalization activities.
• Participate in learning sessions, briefings and knowledge‑sharing activities related to digital transformation.

Required profile

• University Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Records Management or a related field.
• Graduated within the last twelve months.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and collaboration tools.
• Basic reporting and analytics capabilities for digital projects.
