About the role

The Head of Business & Commercial Banking will lead the growth, transformation and digital strategy agenda for Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) within the country, driving sustainable business growth, market leadership and enhanced client value.

Key responsibilities

• Shape, execute, scale, commercialise and embed the BCB strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance metrics.
• Champion digital innovation and transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
• Deploy locally relevant client value propositions across strategic sectors and accelerate customer acquisition, portfolio growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with Group and country stakeholders to localise strategic priorities, optimise investment and resource allocation.
• Deliver differentiated solutions that strengthen client relationships, drive commercial outcomes and position the business for long‑term success.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Technology or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in Business and Commercial Banking, including leadership of a business unit, client segment or significant P&L.
• Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that deliver market expansion, revenue growth and profitability.
• Demonstrated experience leading large‑scale business transformation and digital innovation projects.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and make sound decisions.
• Exceptional leadership capability, building high‑performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Deep knowledge of the local Business and Commercial Banking market and its economic drivers.
