Hotel Sales Executive

About the role

Our client, a premium hospitality establishment in Kilimani, Nairobi, is seeking a dynamic Hotel Sales Executive to drive room sales and revenue growth. The role focuses on building relationships with travel agents, tour operators and corporate clients, and expanding market presence across key Nairobi corridors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business opportunities to generate room sales and meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators and corporate accounts, handling proposals, contracts and negotiations.
• Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends and market dynamics to support brand positioning and market expansion.
• Collaborate with the Head of Sales, reservations and operations teams to ensure seamless booking and guest experience.
• Track sales performance, maintain pipeline records and prepare regular sales reports with actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality Management or related field.
• 5‑7 years of proven hotel or hospitality sales experience, preferably within Mombasa Road, Ngong Road or Westlands markets.
• Strong network of travel agents, tour operators and corporate clients in Nairobi.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and manage key accounts.
