Junior Sales Intern – Call Centre (Automotive)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Sales Interns to join a call‑centre supporting a leading automotive company in Kenya. The role focuses on generating leads, engaging prospects, promoting automotive products and turning enquiries into sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to introduce and promote automotive products and services.
• Respond to inbound enquiries, provide accurate product information and identify sales opportunities.
• Generate, qualify and follow up on leads via calls, WhatsApp, social media and other channels.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups to move leads through the sales pipeline and support conversion.
• Recommend suitable vehicles or related products based on customer needs.
• Record interactions, enquiries and follow‑up activities in the CRM system.
• Schedule appointments, showroom visits and product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Assist the sales team with market research, customer feedback and lead‑generation campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
• Strong interest in sales, customer service and the automotive industry.
• Persuasive, energetic and comfortable making frequent outbound calls.
• Good computer literacy and ability to work with digital communication tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using WhatsApp and other digital communication platforms.
