Lead Arborist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Arborist to oversee professional tree care, pruning, removal, planting, and emergency response services. The role combines hands‑on field work with team leadership to ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ground, climbing, and aerial‑lift duties on assigned projects.
• Lead safe tree pruning and removal operations in line with industry standards.
• Identify, assess, and diagnose tree health issues.
• Install cabling and bracing systems where needed.
• Conduct tree planting and ongoing maintenance.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs for weather‑related incidents.
• Maintain and operate hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and related equipment.
• Promote a safety‑first culture and support crew productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of safe, professional tree‑climbing experience.
• Valid standard driver’s license with a clean record; ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Strong teamwork and customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 50 lb or more.
