About the role
We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. In this fully remote position you will analyze complex legal and regulatory frameworks and translate them into technical solutions that guide product development and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to inform product decisions.
- Design and build technical frameworks and tools that automate legal research processes.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
- Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
- Draft technical documentation and guidelines to ensure legal compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
- Proficiency with legal research methodologies and tools.
- Experience conducting regulatory analysis and working with compliance frameworks.
- Ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
