Onboarding Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the SVP Africa, the Onboarding Specialist is the point of contact for Sales & Business Development (BD) and acts as an internal business partner for sales support. The role supports the sales team with client onboarding, pipeline management, presentation preparation, meeting organisation and research, and carries out sales and operational activities related to global sales to meet annual sales objectives. It is a single contributor role with opportunities for growth in account management and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Support BD during the pre-sales stage (qualifying proposal stage) with pricing preparation and help sales prepare sales slides and new case studies
• Assist BD in onboarding new partners and follow up on the process with compliance, legal and technical integration, and with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare customised reports for Business Development, Account Management and Partners
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve customer issues
• Prepare the quarterly sales report for Account Management
• Help BD and AM keep CRM data accurate and up to date

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business discipline
• 6+ years of work experience in a commercial corporate environment, ideally in financial services or a tech company
• Highly organised, independent, able to prioritise and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, flexible, self-motivated and team-oriented
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, COUNTIF, VLOOKUP)
• CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
