Partnerships Manager (Professional Pathways Pillar)

About the role

The Partnerships Manager for the Professional Pathways Pillar will lead the development and implementation of strategic collaborations that enable displacement‑affected learners to access graduate scholarships and career opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the role is based at the RLRH office in Nairobi with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with universities, scholarship providers and humanitarian organisations.
• Coordinate the delivery of the Mastercard Foundations Scholars Program in partnership with RLRH.
• Support the design and rollout of professional development programmes for refugees, asylum‑seekers and other displaced persons.
• Monitor partnership performance, produce reports and ensure compliance with funding agreements.
• Represent RLRH at stakeholder meetings, conferences and networking events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in partnership or business development, preferably in the nonprofit, education or humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of displacement‑related challenges and higher‑education pathways.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to work across cultures.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work in a fast‑moving environment.
