About the role
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to lead our premium pastry kitchen in Nairobi. You will create high‑quality pastries, cakes, desserts and breads while shaping seasonal menus that reflect our brand’s culinary excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare premium pastries, cakes, desserts, chocolates, breads and viennoiserie.
- Develop seasonal menus and signature dessert offerings.
- Oversee daily pastry kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
- Manage inventory, control food costs and minimise wastage.
- Supervise, train and develop junior pastry kitchen staff.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of experience as a Pastry Chef.
- Diploma or Certificate in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Experience in premium dessert or café operations is an advantage.
- Food Safety/HACCP certification is a plus.
