Production Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Machine Operator to run and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing and packaging of washing powder. The role ensures efficient production, high product quality, and safe equipment operation within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Set up, adjust, and control machines to meet required output and quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance, identify faults or breakdowns, and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for technical issues and conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Record production output, machine performance, downtime, and material usage accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around machines and the production area.
• Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Report machine faults, production issues, and quality concerns to the Production Supervisor.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost machine efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience operating production/manufacturing machines, preferably in detergent, chemical, FMCG or similar environments.
• Practical knowledge of industrial production machinery and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and understand machine operating manuals and technical instructions.
• Basic understanding of preventive maintenance and production processes.
• Good computer and record‑keeping skills with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
