Project Sales Manager – Building Materials (Nairobi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, commercially‑driven Project Sales Manager to generate and secure building‑material projects across Kenya. The role focuses on real‑estate, government, institutional and large‑scale construction opportunities, guiding each project from early identification through to after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new real‑estate, government, institutional, commercial and hospitality projects across Kenya.
• Build and nurture relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, architects, quantity surveyors and procurement teams.
• Convert early‑stage project leads into qualified business opportunities and confirmed procurement orders.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: client development, specification, quotation, negotiation, contract, supply planning, delivery, installation, payment collection and project closure.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, negotiate pricing within company guidelines, and coordinate supply schedules with internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, resolve site‑related issues, and maintain strong client relationships throughout.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the Kenyan construction and real‑estate market.
• Established network among developers, contractors, consultants, architects, government stakeholders and procurement decision‑makers.
• Proven experience in engineering or project sales, preferably within tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, surfaces or other building‑material sectors.
• Commercially motivated with a track record of meeting sales targets.
