Quality Assurance Specialist – Nairobi

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the QA function for Centric Brands’ textile production in Nairobi, ensuring that garments and accessories meet the company’s high standards and licensor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate fit approvals, pre‑production (PP) meetings and packaging approvals.
• Conduct inline and final inspections, as well as full packaging inspections of components and stickers.
• Monitor production work‑in‑progress, report challenges and communicate results to Asia and North America leads.
• Perform factory audits, track corrective action plans, and manage colour, fabric and trim approvals.
• Handle licensor/customer QA requirements, compliance checks and on‑boarding of new factories.
• Maintain daily quality inspection reports, update SAP with purchase order and delivery dates, and coordinate with sales on quantities and shipments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within the textile or garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail.
