Reservation & Listing Intern – Hospitality Operations

About the role

This internship supports the Reservations team at a fast‑growing hospitality business in Nairobi. You will gain hands‑on experience handling guest bookings across multiple online platforms while ensuring a smooth and memorable stay for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Process, confirm, modify and cancel reservations.
• Respond to guest enquiries via WhatsApp, email, Airbnb, Booking.com and other channels.
• Check availability, rates and booking details.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Operations, Finance and other teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Prepare booking confirmations, invoices, payment follow‑ups and guest information.
• Compile daily check‑in and check‑out lists.
• Maintain accurate reservation records.
• Handle guest requests, booking changes and cancellations.
• Support the Reservations Manager with administrative and operational tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 6 months experience in reservations, hospitality or customer service.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Chinese language skills are a plus.
