About the role
The Sales Assistant will work on the shop floor of a busy retail outlet, providing friendly and efficient service to customers. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates with a high school certificate who thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product questions and guide them to merchandise.
- Process cash and card payments using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Restock shelves, maintain visual displays and assist with inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate price labels and ensure the store remains clean and organized.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promote product knowledge.
Required profile
- Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service orientation.
Required skills
- Experience with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems or cash registers.
