Sales Executive - Construction Materials

About the role

The Sales Executive will drive the acquisition of new customers and manage existing relationships for construction material supplies across Lang'ata, Ngong, Kiserian and Rongai. You will work on‑site daily, identifying project needs, preparing quotations and closing sales to meet monthly revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers in the assigned territories and visit construction sites daily.
• Identify projects requiring steel, sand, ballast, blocks and other materials.
• Obtain Bills of Quantities, material schedules and customer requirements for accurate quotations.
• Prepare, follow up and negotiate quotations in coordination with the office.
• Close sales within approved pricing and develop repeat‑business relationships.
• Maintain a database of prospects, active projects and customers.
• Submit daily activity logs and weekly sales reports.
• Collect market intelligence on material prices, competitors and construction activity.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in construction materials or related products.
• Strong knowledge of Lang'ata, Ngong, Kiserian and Rongai.
• Ability to prospect independently and travel to multiple sites each day.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
