Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

PrismHR is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join its distributed team. You will work on SaaS, mobile, and on‑premise flagship products, delivering end‑to‑end solutions from database layers to modern front‑ends.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and debug complex application code across the full stack.
• Write unit tests and ensure high‑quality code through rigorous code reviews.
• Produce technical documentation throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead system‑design efforts focusing on security, performance, data integrity, and scalability.
• Collaborate with QA to define comprehensive testing strategies.
• Mentor junior developers and share expertise within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in software product design, architecture, or support.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, tackle challenges, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Positive attitude and ability to contribute as an individual contributor.
• Domain knowledge in Human Capital Management (HCM) is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert‑level JavaScript/TypeScript (5+ years).
• Experience with modern frameworks such as AngularJS, React, and Vue.js.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS.
• RESTful web services, Node.js, and Express.
• Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) – optional but valued.
• Agile development, continuous integration, test‑driven development, and Git version control.
• Docker containerization on Linux or macOS.
• Experience with NoSQL or MultiValue (PICK) databases.
